Reader Association
SIP Campus
Functional Organizations
XJTLU Reader Association was founded in 2007. It is the only functional academic association directly under the library and one of the oldest organizational associations in the school. Open a book, meet a different world, meet a group of interesting souls. The Reader Association will hold a regular reading meeting every two weeks, or a keynote speaker will introduce your works, life experiences, and academic thoughts, so as to enrich your own depth. Or with like-minded friends to explore literature, weigh the context, and characters with the same sorrow and joy. A man walks in smoke, a book in ivory. Reading rafting, book charity sale, and other book-related activities will also be jointly held by the readers' Association and the library or other associations, which will be fresh and lively. May every scholar who walks through this mortal coil have his wish.

Volunteer Academy

Functional Organizations
Affiliated to the Youth League Committee of XJTLU, Volunteer Academy has been the only public resource integration platform of the university. We support a wide range of public interest activities in and out of the university mainly through providing resources, promotional assistance, planning guidance, negotiation and other technical support. For all of the XJTLU teachers and students, Volunteer Academy is in charge of the recruitment of large-scale volunteer activities both inside and outside of the university. Examples include volunteers for every year’s opening ceremony and the Jinji Lake Marathon. We are also responsible for the recording of volunteers' volunteer hours and the issuance of volunteer certificates. In addition, our Academy has consistently been striving to create a strong public welfare atmosphere in XJTLU via organizing various events such as public welfare sharing meetings, volunteer parties and other activities.  Facing the society, enterprises and public welfare organizations outside of the university, Volunteer Academy planned the activity of "public welfare touring class" covering some primary schools in the industrial park district. When the summer vacation volunteer teaching finished, our Academy got in touch with relevant enterprises and public welfare organizations to donate needed supplies to the schools. Therefore, we serve as the bridge between XJTLU and the external public welfare resources.
