There are some people who care about their lives and society. They take actions to obtain people’s support and trust.

On 15th March 2017, the Winter Social Practice Award Ceremony was held in CB-G23W with the aim of rewarding the students who participated in the activity.

There are four groups which are City Image, Poor Consideration on Accurate, Food waste, Multi-national Culture, and Fusion Process. Students endeavored to solve some social problems using their own knowledge and skills. Also, they benefit a lot in this process.

 One group leader stated that ‘we were business students and we hope to use what we have learned to solve problems. During the preparation we consulted our tutor for some useful information.’ Apparently, students can apply their knowledge and improve themselves.

 Meanwhile, it can help students cement their relationship with others. All the group members tried their best to achieve the same goals. Ruiying Li said that they cooperated with each other to accomplish this task. Some people contacted with the local people and made budget. Others managed and led the team. Students have learned how to work together for the purpose of accomplishing the tasks during this time.

Social practice offers a chance to the students to have a further understanding of society and solve the problems by themselves. Participating in activities like this can improve students’ skills and can appeal more people to focus on the society.
