On September 27^th, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University Pan-Yangtze River Delta High School Model United Nations Conference 2020 Opening Ceremony was successfully held in the South Campus of XJTLU. This conference aims to enhance the high school students' understanding of the work and affairs of the United Nations, cultivate young students' awareness of independent thinking, improve their understanding of politics, economy and culture, and further carry forward the international education concept of XJTLU. The opening ceremony also invited three guests to deliver the speech. They are Qiuling Chao, Vice President of XJTLU, Jianping Shen, Director of Suzhou CPPCC Education, Health and Sports Commission, and Adam Cross, Associate Dean for Learning and Teaching in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. The opening ceremony ended when the Hammer Awarding Ceremony finished.
