On 25^th November 2020, the leader of the XJTLU Drama Group Yuanzhen Liu visited the Suzhou Traffic Radio, sharing his and other group members’ feelings of excitement because two days later, they would perform on the opening ceremony of Oriental Huihu Cup Drama Festival. On 27^th November 2020, in the Dushu Lake movie theater, the ceremony began. After more than one month’s preparation, students from XJTLU Drama Group brought their work named Confinement onto the stage, which was consisted of The Housemaid, The Hostage, The Temperamental Men and Women, and The Cousin in Our Village. Through these four plays, the students in XJTLU used their body and language to express not only their understanding of the character, but also their understanding and thoughts of the human and society. The show was a huge success, and the audience were all moved by the characters at the end of the plays.
