Introduction of activity: The Spring and Autumn Ball of Xi’an Jiaotong Liverpool University is held by Art Training Centre, a student organization set up officially by the university. It is a mega-event for teachers and students of Xi’an Jiaotong Liverpool University and Dushu Lake Higher Education Town. From 2010 to now, the Spring and Autumn Ball of Xi’an Jiaotong Liverpool University has been successfully held 14 times and met over 17,000 people. In 2013-2016, the Spring and Autumn Ball has appealed to more than 1,300 freshmen on average. The ball is intended to raise artistic accomplishment of teachers and students, cultivate students’ communicative competence, and provide a stage for students to show themselves.
