This summer social practice has a total of 188 teams and 875 students enrolled. At the ceremony, Professor Chao Qiuling, vice president of Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, said that social practice is a key part of campus life and higher education. It is also a bridge for students to pay attention to people's livelihood and step into society. They do not only enrich their horizons, but also explore the world, and prepare themselves to be a young adult.

At the meeting, student volunteers Hua Junlei and international student representative Naomi Riteco expressed their great interest in social practice and plans and expectations for summer social practice.

Finally, Professor Chao Qiuling awarded the banner to the summer social practice team and officially opened the curtain of summer social practice. She addressed that she sincerely hoped that students would grow up, feel and gain from the exploration and discovery of social practice, so that social practice will become the cornerstone of life.
