Time flies like an arrow and it’s time for the newly-established social practice support association (SPSA) to start its election for the new management team for the first time. Founded in September 2019, various practice activities organized by SPSA have achieved resounding successes and the work has been on the right track under the leadership from the current management team.

On March 7, 2020, SPSA formally began its leadership election. Due to the challenges posed by the widespread of the epidemic, this election was held online in the form of online conference meeting. At the beginning of the meeting, the current president Zhong Junyun expressed her gratitude to all the members who had worked extremely hard during the semester. Secondly, she conveyed her expectations for the development of SPSA in the future. Finally, she officially announced the opening of the election. All the candidates then presented their speeches in turn and also interacted proactively during the Q&A session with the current management team right after the speech. Based on the performance of the candidates, the current management team as well as certain selected members casted their vote by means of anonymous questionnaire. The voting gave rise to the generation of the new leadership team and officially ended the three-hour online authorization handover.

This is not only an end, but rather a beginning. The newly-elected management team will carry forward the expectations, remain true to the original aspiration and continue to lead and grow together with SPSA.
