December 9, 2020, 6:00 p.m., the XJTLU’s New Year Concert finally began. This concert was divided into two parts. In the first half of the concert, it is the Chinese folk music, including 6 pieces of wonderful music that displayed the most irresistible charm of Chinese music, such as Dragon’s Leap and Tiger’s Jump, the Lantern Market, and My Motherland. In the second half, student coming from the XJTLU symphony orchestra were also not to be outdone. They commenced with Symphony No. 5 in C minor, then, after another 2 the most exotic pieces, they ended with the Vltava. It was an absolutely different experience. Combined with both Chinese and Western music, the whole concert ended perfectly with the infinite sound of audience’s applause.
