On March 12th, a unique cultural exchange event - "Experience Traditional Chinese Painting for International Students" - was held in CB G06E. This activity aimed to promote China's fine traditional culture and enhance cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries, attracting the enthusiastic participation of many international students.

At the beginning of the activity, Teacher Li gave a clear and easy-to-understand lecture on the basic techniques and unique aesthetic of Chinese painting for everyone. Starting from the introduction of brushstrokes, to the demonstration of painting bamboo in Chinese painting, Teacher Li's explanations were meticulous and detailed, enabling the foreign students to have a preliminary understanding of this ancient art form.

Subsequently, the students couldn't wait to pick up their brushes and show their skills on the rice paper. Although it was their first time engaging with traditional Chinese painting, their passion for art and eagerness to explore the unknown remained undiminished. Under the patient guidance of the teacher, they gradually mastered the basic techniques and created a series of lifelike bamboo paintings.

In Chinese culture, bamboo symbolizes tenacity, modesty and the demeanor of a gentleman. Choosing to incorporate bamboo into paintings is not only a tribute to the traditional themes of Chinese painting but also a unique way to convey the essence of Chinese culture to international friends. Over time, a series of blank fans have gradually come to life. Each fan reflects the unique understanding of Chinese culture by foreign students and is also a precious achievement they have gained from this experience course on Chinese painting.

This experience class on traditional Chinese painting for foreign students is not only an artistic feast but also a cultural exchange.
