A language partner is a functional organization that promotes contact and communication between Chinese and foreign students. It is the largest and oldest platform for cultural exchange between Chinese and foreign students at Xipi University, and also one of the student organizations at Xipi Univers

XJTLU SCDA was established in May 2008, known as the Student Career Development Association. SCDA is designed to adapt to the demand of the employment market for XJTLU students ' own career development requirements. SCDA was initiated by students independently, for XJTLU Career Development Office and headed by XJTLU careers Development office teachers, higher education sector guidance work of non-governmental organizations (NGO). In modern society, college students have met serious competition in job-hunting, the employment situation is more severe. As an International University, whereas this situation on the students of XJTLU is particularly critical. Therefore, a clear job target, scientific career planning, internships opportunity, and the rational design of job hunting are really important in the career development. SCDA aims at assisting college students to establish correct career values, employment consciousness, and comprehensive and standard career development to improve the comprehensive ability of students in XJTLU.SCDA provides career information and become the platform between students and university. SCDA improves their employment competitiveness and ability to accommodate the modern society. For underclassman, SCDA aims at cultivating the consciousness of career planning and universal career development concept. Science and innovation association was established in 2009 by students who are passionate about science, technology and innovation. It is one of the earliest and the largest Functional club for science in XJTLU. It is responsible for the organization and management of extracurricular scientific and technological activities for students, mainly focusing on scientific research and popularization of science.SIA consists of six departments: Creative Department, Outreach Department, Media Department, General Management Department, Research Department and Research Center, and MCU Event Group, VEX Event Group, 3D Printing Event Group and WeChat app Event Group. Some of the exciting events held were Chamber Escape, Gamer's Night, Maker's Marathon, Knowledge Sharing Officer, and Workshops from many technology companies. Young Success Partner Association is a career development organization under Career Center. YSPA aims to connect XJTLU and workplace, help students develop employment competitiveness and eventually grow into career elites. With rich enterprise employer resources, the association carries out activities such as CV writing guidance, interview skills guidance, workplace experience sharing, internship program integration and recommendation and on-campus job fair. These valuable experiences provide members with opportunities to talk with workplace elites face to face, as well as the access to the newest internship and industry information.

Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University Alumni Liaison Association serves as an official functional organization under the Alumni office. It is committed to providing support services to alumni, strengthening the links between alumni and students and establishing a strong and effective alumni network. XJTLU Reader Association was founded in 2007. It is the only functional academic association directly under the library and one of the oldest organizational associations in the school. Open a book, meet a different world, meet a group of interesting souls. The Reader Association will hold a regular reading meeting every two weeks, or a keynote speaker will introduce your works, life experiences, and academic thoughts, so as to enrich your own depth. Or with like-minded friends to explore literature, weigh the context, and characters with the same sorrow and joy. A man walks in smoke, a book in ivory. XJTLU Architecture Student Association is the only organization officially certificated by Architecture Department.
