XJTLU Chinese Orchestra Recruitment Audition

To strengthen our sections and enhance artistic excellence, the XJTLU Chinese Orchestra will hold auditions on September 13th and 14th, open to all XJTLU students. Location: CB-G17W.

Instrumental Recruitment:

Wind Instruments: Bamboo Flute (Bangdi, Qudi, Xindi), Dongxiao, Suona (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass), Hulusi, Sheng (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass).

String Instruments: Erhu, Gaohu, Zhonghu, Jinghu, Banhu, Gehu, etc.; Cello, Double Bass.

Plucked Strings: Yangqin, Pipa, Guzheng, Zhongruan, Daruan, Liuqin, Sanxian, Konghou, Harp, Xiaoruan, Gaoyin Ruan, Diyin Ruan, Guqin, etc.

Percussion: Traditional Chinese Percussion, Western Percussion, Drum Set, Piano, etc.

Special Needs:

Dual proficiency in Piano + any Wind Instrument (Chinese or Western).

Dual proficiency in Percussion + Piano or any Pitched Instrument.

Logistical Support Recruitment:
Music copyists, publicity personnel (graphic design, video shooting & editing).
