The Earth Hour Film Screening Bureau, in collaboration with sustainable communities nationwide, is hosting the second Ordinary People Film Festival. This event will feature domestic and international nature and environmental documentaries, where participants can contribute an hour to the planet in their favorite way.
NORTS (Nature Society) will team up with the Earth Hour Film Screening Bureau to host an offline screening on March 21st at 18:00 (ES125).
The event will include three segments and 12 short and feature-length documentaries from both domestic and international filmmakers, creating a vast global Earth cinema.
We will select one documentary, with screening rights authorized by the organizers.
Additionally, we will hold a vote to choose a classic film or documentary related to nature/environmental topics for screening.
Before the screening, we will also host a series of workshops, including NORTS’ seaweed composting and other sustainable gardening practices.
NORTS is directly affiliated with the Department of Health and Environmental Science. We have the authority to manage and operate the first Outdoor Teaching and Researching Space (ORTS) in China and are the recipients of the first One Yangze River Funded Project whic is open to all nature lovers.
