In order to inherit the spirit of chess and spread the chess culture, Xi 'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University's Chess Association will hold the fourth Chess Cup, with the competition events including Go, Chinese chess, Chess and Gobang.

1. Weiqi: Approved by China Weiqi Association and published in 2002)

2. Chinese Chess: Implement the latest Rules of Chess Competition (2011).

3. Chess: Adopt the Current Rules of Chess Competition (2000).

4. Gobang: Chinese Gobang Competition Rules (2013) revised by Chess and Card Center of General Administration of Sport in 2013.
