The first Cantonese teaching lecture of the Cantonese Society in the first semester of the 25-26 academic year, focusing on the theme voted by members to teach Cantonese knowledge and share Cantonese culture. The content involves the recommendation of Cantonese learning tools, the introduction of the Cantonese spelling system, the introduction of cities and folklore in the Bay Area (Guangzhou & Foshan & Zhaoqing & Maoming), etc.
Recreational Clubs
XJTLU Cantonese Club is an interesting community with the responsibility of teaching Cantonese, promoting Cantonese culture and making good friends. Through a series of colorful activities, we will lead our friends from all over the world to understand the broad charm of Cantonese culture from all directions and angles. Cantonese is not only a language, Cantonese Club is not only a fellow society, but also the warmest family for Cantonese cultural enthusiasts all over the country and even the world. Diversity of activities including Cantonese courses, Cantonese cuisine, Cantonese songs competition and new trend from Canton area would be held in school life such that every club members can deeply experience Cantonese culture.
