With the aim of encouraging students to make adequate preparations for the coming social practice. The Expedition of Summer Social Practice was held in our school on May 24th. President Yang, teacher representatives and approximate 1000 students participated in this activity. 

These students were divided into many different groups and entered the hall orderly. 

They wore yellow and green T-shirt which stands for the passion and youth and waiting for the expedition. The whole room was covered with these two colors.

Firstly, President Yang emphasized the importance of participating in social practice. He mentioned that students should have their own purpose and clarify why they take part in this activity. Students need to implement their plan effectively and apply the knowledge into real life. The social practice in university is a bridge, which link schools and society. It provides the opportunity for us to experience the real life in society and let us realize what kinds of people does the society need. It is similar to the education mode of our school. Students can learn a lot during this process and gradually become a young adult even world citizens.

The president of the Volunteer Academy stated that this summer social practice has a large scale and high degree of participation. Every group member was selected carefully and had special trainings. Finally she and all the students made a commitment: We would ensure our safety and try our best to finish the tasks. 

Then President Yang gave the school flag to our students and about 1000 students handed over it. It waved like spray.The flag stands for our school and students' responsibility. We hope they can work together to accomplish their task successfully. The expediton ended in the warm applause.

Our school welcome and encourage students to participate in this kind of social practice.Social practice provides a platform where students can experience the real life in society and gain some useful knowledge.
