The school faculty team won over the students’ team in a friendly match taken place in B4 basketball court on Friday night in XJTLU, along with a basketball carnival.

The faculty team took the lead since the start, and gradually widened the gap. Teachers ended this game with the scores settled at 85:69.

No.4 player Pan in the faculty team would be able to take credit for the winning. As a basketball teacher in XJTLU, he scored on a number of three-pointers and made two of his three slam dunks, one of which was a reverse dunk.

“Students are absolutely more energetic than me,” Pan said. He rested aside during the second quarter. “I’m not a superman. My energy is quickly used up, especially after a full-day teaching”.

The students’ team consisted of outstanding skillful players selected with much thought from different teams since the fresher’s basketball match.

“They probably lack experience since they are still new here, but we play every year. I bet they will do better with more practice,” Lu said, another school staff in the winning team. He also said they teachers would play basketball with students in private occasions from time to time.

Participants could sign up for two games in the basketball carnival, Skill and Three-Pointer. Yunhe Liu claimed first in Skill and Yusong Zhao in Three-Pointer.
