Social Practice Support Association (SPSA) held the Award Ceremony & Sharing Session of XJTLU Summer Social Practice in 2021 at IA G28 from 14:00 to 16:00 on November 3rd. Students who participated in the summer social practice shared their unique experiences through this event.
After the symphony orchestra opened with melodious music, Prof.Chao, delivered a speech, affirming the efforts made by the instructors and students, and pointing out the importance of social practice for contemporary young students to go out of campus and touch the society.
Then, Ms.Wang shared her experience of leading social practice projects as an instructor. Through listing many excellent projects in the past, students were encouraged to participate in social practice activities actively.
Four groups of students were invited to share their summer social practice projects. The "I Wanna" Game Making Team combined popular elements with the game. In the “investigation of cultural heritage in Suzhou” project, through field visits, students understood the problems faced by Suzhou's old sites and explored solutions. The ALMA Volunteer Teaching Team transmits the public welfare spirit of XJTLUers with online volunteer teaching. The students in the “Preliminary Exploration on Intelligent Transformation of Windows for Domestic Life” project found the inconvenience of the old people using the Windows and redesigned the windows.
The sharing session was followed by an exciting award ceremony. Following the tradition, the award ceremony did not inform the winning team in advance, leaving students in suspense. Thanks to the teachers, students, and members of SPSA for their joint efforts. Let's look forward to the next social practice event.
