On the 16th April, in the year of 2017, The First "Xipu" Cup International Sport Tournaments formally started and the football match was held on Wenhui football court. Four football teams (The University of Nottingham Ningbo China, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool Uiversity, Wenzhou-Kean University and University of Shanghai for Science and Technology) joined in this football match. Based on draw results, four teams were divided two groups and played preliminary contest.UNNC team beat XJTLU team (9-3) and USST beat WKU (5-1). This two teams reached the final game and UNNC became the championship (3-1).

In the preliminary contest, XJTLU football team got drop on this game and Xuhang Tang scored early. However, UNNC 21 player constantly scored 5 points that showed his outstanding personal ability. Then, 11 player and former XJTLU student Amir (UNNC postgraduate student) respectively scored 2 points.The ware of attacks made XJTLU team unprepared. Although,the game was ended as a contest,XJTLU team did not give up and showed indomitable spirit.Gehang Shi recouped two points.Finally,the score was fixed at 9-3.

In the third-place match, XJTLU team was aware of shame and became braver. During the game,Gehang Shi individually scored 8 points. XJLUT team won WKU team and became third winner in this contest(9-1). At last, Gehang Shi was awarded the Golden Boot when Amir became MVP.
