The XJTLU Student Union is the official student organization under the leadership of the University Party Committee and with the guidance of the Youth League Committee, serving as a bridge between the University and its students. We identify and address student needs in academic development, well-being, social integration, and rights protection—relaying feedback to the University and collaborating on solutions. Guided by XJTLU's motto of "Light and Wings," we support the University's internationalization strategy by building cross-cultural platforms, promoting mutual learning, and cultivating globally-minded young leaders.

Our streamlined structure includes one President, two Vice Presidents, and five departments—Administration, Development, Culture & Sports, Publicity, and Rights & Interests. The Administration Department comprises the Secretariat, Finance Office, and HR Office, while Rights & Interests oversees the External Liaison Office and Student Service Center. Our members are dedicated, proactive, and student-focused.

The basic tasks of the Student Union are:

(1) To represent and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the student body, enthusiastically serve fellow students, establish communication channels between the school administration and the student community, and assist in promoting the school's educational and administrative work.

(2) To organize a variety of self-management, self-education, and self-service activities based on the needs of the members, thereby creating favorable conditions for members to enhance their democratic awareness, cultivate a scientific mindset, and achieve all-round personal development.

(3) To promote interaction and unity among students of different ethnic groups within China, and to maintain friendly exchanges between Chinese and international students.
